Thank you for standing with me through more than six months of uncertainty. For refusing to be discouraged. For using your voice to protect our democracy and defend the right to vote. When things got tough, I stayed resolute because I knew I wasn’t alone. I knew I was standing arm in arm with people like you, defending something bigger than any one election.
You chose a path forward where power stays in the hands of people, not politicians.
You demanded accountability and used your voices to speak out for our constitutional rights.
You stepped up to protect voters, including military members and their families serving us overseas.
And just as you used your voices in this fight, I encourage North Carolinians to remember: You decide elections, not candidates or political parties. And those you elect are accountable to you.
It is crucial for you to use your precious right to vote to elect candidates — and especially judges — who will put the Constitution, the rule of law, and their oath above their own political ambition and ideologies.
Now that the fight to certify this election is over, I’m focused on the work ahead. I’ll serve all North Carolinians, whether they voted for me or not. I’ll defend your rights, your freedoms, and the Constitution — without fear or favor.
