Summer Internships

Intern with the Carteret County Democratic Party – Applications due April 1st, 2026. 

The Carteret County (NC) Democratic Party seeks college students for summer internships. Students will earn experience working with a Democratic Party precinct, officer, or committee. Those with good technical and social media skills are particularly encouraged to apply. Internships will require 10 to 20 hours per week in practical fieldwork and may also conduct a research project. The internships are unpaid and offer no academic credit. The CCDP cannot provide housing in Carteret County during the summer. Upon completion, students will receive letters of recommendation outlining their accomplishments. Students may apply here.
